WHAT ARE THE PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES?

1. General Responsibilities

People should do their best to take care of their own health, follow the recommendations given for a healthy life.

A person can donate blood or donate organs if necessary.

In simple cases, people should take care of themselves

2. Social Security Status

The patient must inform about the changes in his health, social security and personal information in a timely manner.

The patient must make a visa for the medical card (such as Bag-Kur, Green Card) in a timely manner

3. Informing Health Workers

The patient; complains of,

Diseases that he had previously suffered,

Whether he has undergone any inpatient treatment,

Medications that he still uses, if any,

He must provide complete and complete information about all his health.

4. Compliance with Hospital Rules

The patient must comply with the rules and practices of the medical institution to which he applies.

The patient must comply with the referral chain established by the Ministry of Health and other social security institutions.

The patient should be in cooperation with health professionals during the treatment, care and improvement process.

If the patient is using a medical facility that provides scheduled services, he must comply with the date and time of the appointment and inform the relevant place of the changes.

The patient must respect the rights of hospital staff, other patients and visitors.

The patient must cover the damages caused to the hospital supplies.

5. Compliance with Recommendations On Treatment

The patient should listen carefully to the recommendations on his treatment and medications and ask where he cannot understand.

If the patient has a condition of inability to comply with the recommendations for his treatment, he should inform the health worker about it.

The patient should indicate whether he understands the health care and post-discharge care plan correctly, as expected.

The patient should know that he is responsible for the consequences that will arise due to refusal of the treatment to be applied or non-compliance with the recommendations.
