Emergency Department The Green Area is the unit that serves the group of patients who are admitted to the emergency department who are not in danger of life, whose general condition is good, their vital parameters are normal, and who constitute the last group in terms of treatment priority in a situation that does not require emergency intervention. As a result of the physical arrangements made in our institution, a Green Area examination unit with a separate patient waiting room was created in the Emergency Department of our institution and opened for service. In this way, by reducing the intensity of the Emergency Department, the aim of providing better quality and efficient services to patients with special intervention needs in the Yellow Area and Red Area departments was achieved.
